Have these things ready for when you need to get away: Important phone numbers (family, shelters, police) An escape route that you practice with your children A prearranged safe place to meet close by Important documents, such as health cards, ID, marriage certificate Extra money for phone calls, hotels or bus tickets A bank account in your name |
