Residential Services
At Safe Haven we want you to feel comfortable and secure at the
same time. We offer a comfortable 18 bed facility and a modern
security and surveillance system. Our home like atmosphere allows
residents and their children to feel as calm and comfortable as
possible during their stay.
What Should I Bring With Me?

Bring what you can, especially
medications, personal items and
clothing.  Please refer to the
Resources page for more ideas.

During your stay at Safe Haven, the
shelter will provide all groceries,
including baby items and toiletries.

What to Expect When You Come to Stay

First contact is usually made by phone by calling a Crisis
Intervention Worker at
(403) 223-0483

They will let you know if there is space for you and your
children if you'll be bringing any with you. They will also
arrange transportation to the shelter if you don't have
your own way.

When you arrive, shelter staff will meet you at the door
and then go through an intake process with you. There
will intake paper work to complete, a tour, introduction to
the shelter and our Guidelines for Communal Living.
